Just tell that to a 4 year old! But how true that is.
Thanks!

How true indeed! I find that there are so many advantages in all aspects of life that arise from having a calm mind: being teachable and open to new ideas, awareness of the present and freedom from anxiety. As the direct result of training kung fu and meditation (often they are one and the same to me), I am able to cultivate a calm mind outside of training, in day-to-day living and in stressful situations. Still, sometimes this ability escapes me when things are particularly overwhelming. Yet, with each passing year of training maintaining a calm mind becomes a little fraction easier.
