Young Ik Suh – Restaurant

Master Suh also owned (of many things) a restaurant. It was a really large place that he beautifully constructed. The indoor waterfall and koi fish exhibit was stunning.

I was his general manager for about a year or so, maybe less (for all his businesses). The restaurant was interesting because I was almost always there during the evenings and his guests were, without exception, Korean. The language barrier was something else! Can you imagine me handling a complaint or? without words to use that we all understood? ha! wow! That was an experience.

Attached to it was Mr. Suh’s nightclub. It was quaint and fun. He always hired the most beautiful women to work there! I never complained! 🙂

I hated to see him sell all of these creations of his. But, Mr. Suh is very directional and methodical. He knew what he was after and I never witnessed him straying from that path even a 1/4 inch. Master Suh is a very steady, centered man that follows through with his word, always.

He trained his martial arts the same way. Kung fu was the seed that blossomed in Master Suh over the years into the successful and great man that he is.

A lesson for all of us about staying on path – even when he had things that are beautiful, he knew when to let them go.

Hey MM. Yes, Mr. Suh was right “on path” at all times. He was incredibly steady and knew what he wanted. So many people drift to the side of their dreams and promises. He is a living lesson that life can be lead “on the mark” with some effort. pgmb

It’s a very powerful tool to know that you can work hard and have and appreciate what you have and also keep moving ahead keeping focused in the direction of where you want to go. What you attain on the path you can have and appreciate what it is and keep all this while not stopping you’re journey. Its awesome Mr. Suh can give testimony to the phrase “go north”. Thanks for sharing PGMB.
