Punch With Vigor

Aspects of Power:

The mind creates a thought of feeling powerful; from the feeling, arises great power. Supporting this activity, should be well trained and disciplined basics. Without basics, the correct body mechanics, the “feeling of power” doesn’t have the proper support and it will fail to deliver – there is no cooperative body channel for it to flow through.

Mind Calls and Recalls
Feeling of Power
Equals Power

Feeling can be described as passion, a kind of spiritual fire from within. When released, it establishes itself with poise and vigor – it cannot be stopped. Power cannot be fully described – not true power. It is not arriving from mere body muscle; it is arriving from thought muscle, an inspiration so to speak. An uninspired punch/kick (etc.) will not be powerful. Inspiration, passion, desire, and wildness from within will come together to create an immense “feeling of power.” This is the real and living power. Otherwise, just use a bat.

A difficult subject to apply. And a more difficult one to explain.  However, an easy one to feel, for either the practitioner or the one on the “receiving end.” You can trust that!
