Take That Last Step

People commonly
fail when
they are on the threshold of success.

So,

nurture the end
as carefully as the beginning.

……

Another excerpt from the book Seeds of a Hermit (by Don Baird). The key is to always participate in your life to the fullest. It isn’t about talking; it’s about action. It isn’t about dreaming; it’s about fulfilling the dreams you have dreamt. We are born to seek. But seeking alone doesn’t bring it home. You have to support your dream by being active, by being a person who, no matter what, will see it through. Persistence, consistency, resilience, dedication, trust in your self, discipline, positivity, and other attributes like these are what will help you follow through with your ideas and goals. Make these thoughts, words and ideas your friends. They will never let you down.

I have seen this principle at work in my life and the lives of everyone I love way too often to doubt it! Thank you for the reminder, sir!

When I was a kid, we made lists… about goals, dreams, what we wanted to buy… Anything could be on the list. So far being active in pursuing that list has made me who I am today. And where I am is perfect. I am enjoying the journey. Every bit of it.
